Seven minutes from Ober Gatlinburg ski and summer resort which has year round ice skating and tubing, an awesome mountain coaster, a summer water park and of course winter ski/snowboarding. You can ride the tramway down the mountain to Down town Gatlinburg to avoid the traffic and parking challenges.
Conveniently nearby to the Chalet Village market and a less than 10 min drive down the mountain to down town Gatlinburg.
Also very convenient “back door” access to Great Smokey Mtn. Nat’l park. Avoid all that traffic getting to the park, you are already there!
NOTE: Just replaced all carpeting with new flooring, exchanged the bar (which it seemed no one ever used) for a half bath in the game room. No more walking up to the main level to use the bathroom. Also installed a giant tv in game room with roku and premium cable including HBO. All new mattresses in the bedrooms too!
